Public Policy Involvement

On behalf of our members, NYSAASC provides a structure for our members to make a difference in influencing state and federal government policies. NYSAASC is actively engaged in dialogue with lawmakers and regulators on impacting the determination of need process, appropriate standards of care, reimbursement, and managed care reform.

Networking of ambulatory surgery professionals

We offer our members the best means to work together and to discuss the critical issues facing ambulatory surgery centers in New York State.

Resource directory of members and vendors

NYSAASC members receive a directory of members and vendors. This directory facilitates communication among ambulatory surgery center professionals.

Benchmarking

Regular members have the opportunity to participate in statistical benchmarking studies in comparison with other centers state-wide.

Meetings

Educational meetings are frequently scheduled twice a year - Spring and Fall.
